Do you feel safe?
· Go over the new boundaries packet
· Go to your Safe Place (p. 9, 10, &10b Creating Your Own Environment)
·         Go over your boundaries and prepare for the next time that happens
·         When asserting your boundary be sure not to attack the other person. (verbally or in any other way)

Do you feel at peace?

·         Slow down and take in the beauty around you.

Do you believe in yourself ?

Do you know what you want to be like?
· Finding Mentors/role models in life (p. 29 –30 Creating Yourself)
·         Look around for people you look up to and decide what character traits you want to have.

Are you becoming the person you want to become?
· Finding your inner strength / Character traits (p.30-36 Creating Yourself)
·         Look at the character traits you have chosen along with the actions. –
·          Are you working toward them?

Are you acting based on who you want to be instead of reacting?
·  Finding your inner strength (p.36-37 Creating Yourself)
·         Remember your character traits you have chosen and when tempted to react to something, act based on how you’ve chosen to act instead.

Are your relationships positive?
·         Friend requirements (p.38-39)
·         Make sure they are living up to your friendship requirements.
o   Talk with the person and explain your concern.
o   Use your character traits to help you not react.
o   Use a positive attitude in dealing with relationships.
o   If they are pulling you down, instead of you lifting them up, you may have to end the relationship.
·         Make sure you are living up to your friend requirements.
o   People with traits like you will be drawn to you.

Are you moving toward you dreams or goals?
·         Letting Your Soul Soar (p.40-53 Creating Yourself)
·         Look for a while at your dream board.
·         Plan one thing you can do today toward a dream or goal.
·         Remember that you have left your fears out of the moments that you are working toward your dreams.

Are you keeping uplifted and inspired?
·         Read through positive Journals or write in them. (p. 8-15 Creating Yourself)

·        Read through past positive coping sheets or write a new one.

 Do you have a positive attitude?
·         Go over your quotes and pick out a few to help you have a more positive attitude.
·         Go through your journals & find those things to remind you of your worth.
·         Find 3 things to be grateful for each day.
·         Use mindfulness in negative situations.
·         Find something positive or to laugh about in negative situations.
·         Make up excuses for people you might otherwise be mad at.  (That person that cut in front of me had to go to the bathroom really bad!)
